Thats Joey fishing across from me at Neshaminy Creek, near Gene and Marilyn Gustafson's house in Mozart.
Pretty much a put and take stream. This is Nov 2006.
Alexis only came out to Ottsville a few times with us, as she was very busy socially in Harrisburg.

Trout from Clark Creek Dauphin County, PA

Nice wild brown trout from the stream that flows outta the Harrisburg Water Supply reservoir at DeHart dam. This spot is where Joey and I fish.

Its only a few miles from the Bradley Drive House, close to Linglestown , near Dauphin.

It is called by us "The Place of the two signs" Which I am using as a short story title.

This spot is really to my son and me what Yellow Breeches to me and my dad.

We still go to Breeches and the Hatchery
as a family tradition. I think the fishing, sadly, it better here these days. Of course its
been 40 years.

Just before he finished his Eagle requirements. Note the junction PA 212 sign in back. That is route PA 32 along the Delaware River and Canal.
I used to fish here (or nearby) with my dad. Its nice to hold on to and pass on some traditions. Its very difficult with divorce, living bi-coastal, etc.
I love these fine young people who have put up with so much BS from their parents.
Hats off to them.
I hope these blogs make some permanent record that can withstand the test of ages.

Shel at PEI house spring 2006

This was the computer room, then a bedroom. Shel writes inspirational messages on the wall.
I guess the time was right for us to say
We'd take our time and live our lives together day by day
We'll make a wish and send it on a prayer
We know our dreams can all come trueWith love that we can share
With you I never wonder -
Will you be there for meWith you I never wonder -
You're the right one for me
:I finally found the love of a lifetime A love to last my whole life throughI finally found the love of a lifetime Forever in my heart, I finally found the love of a lifetimeWith every kiss our love is like brand-newAnd every star up in the sky was made for me and youStill we both know that the road is long (But) We know that we will be together Because our love is strong

Mid-winter investigation of fishing possibilities. We would get together as often as possible usually weekends when I lived in Ottsville. My dad used to take me near this spot, at the union of Cooks Creek and the Delaware River along Route 32.
